Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

An clinic in Washington is seeking a primary care nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately five months from the beginning of October to the beginning of March. On a typical day, the provider will see between 30 and 40 patients of all ages for all urgent care cases including suturing, I&D, and pelvic exams. The provider will work three 12-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This facility uses the Epic EMR.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
