We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with 2+years of dental insurance billing to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator.
As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate insurance verification and billing processes.
Your knowledge of dental coding, insurance policies, and office procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of our dental office.
Duties:
- Process dental insurance claims, follow up and trouble shoot on outstanding claims - Review and interpret dental records and treatment plans - Ensure accurate coding of procedures using CDT codes - Collaborate with other team members to obtain necessary documentation for claims submission - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide explanations of benefits - Update patient records with insurance information and billing details -Answer the telephone possible (you are the responsible third person on the phones) -Support the front desk as needed to ensure a positive patient experience Skills:
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental procedures and CDT codes - Strong dental insurance knowledge and background - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written If you are a motivated individual with 2
